Support Our Children by Supporting Our Volunteers
This year, attendees of the statewide CASA conference will learn about recent legislative changes, working with other cultures, how to de-escalate aggressive individuals, techniques to write a better court report, and how to advocate for children with drug-addicted parents. They will hear firsthand from parents whose children were taken away from them, but who were able to successfully regain custody of their children, as well as from foster children about what it really means to have CASA volunteers on their sides. Workshops at this conference will provide critical and inspiring information that will help CASA volunteers to provide an even higher quality of advocacy for our state's abused and neglected children - ultimately helping to bring these children to safe and permanent homes more quickly.
Unfortunately, many volunteers who would like to attend will not be able to because of the $85 registration fee. Though WaCASA is able to subsidize the costs and provide a small number of scholarships, our own financial restrictions don't allow us to provide complimentary registration to anywhere near as many volunteers as we'd like. But you can help!
By becoming a conference sponsor, you'll be directly helping abused and neglected children by ensuring that their CASA volunteers are at peak performance... Not to mention that you'll get a whole treasure trove of benefits back to increase your company's positive and philanthropic public image!
