About Washington State CASA

Washington State CASA is the supporting association for 35 local CASA programs statewide, providing them with a strong foundation that promotes growth and increased effectiveness of CASA representation. WaCASA provides and facilitates volunteer recruitment campaigns, staff and volunteer trainings, and program development assistance, as well as promotes community relationships built on trust, strengthening relationships with CASA and other organizations in the foster care and legal systems.

The organization specializes in issues relating to:

About Aleksa Lazarewicz

Aleksa Lazarewicz is the Communications Coordinator at Washington State CASA (WaCASA), and is responsible for statewide marketing, promotions, and community relations, and assists programs in their volunteer recruitment and retention efforts. She serves as staff liaison to both the Communications and Legislative Committees, and coordinates WaCASA’s Legislative Partners program. Aleksa graduated from Skidmore College in 2007, with a degree in Communication Design.
